So...I am no longer the midday host at Hot 107.1 Denver. Budget cuts or something. No fun AT ALL. Now I am right back to where I was in November. Someone give me a freakin break already! Man!

I'm sad, but it could always be worse. So I am trying very very hard to be positive. And my hubby has been A+ wonderful. If it weren't for him, I would be crying in bed for days straight.

On that note...can someone get me some orchestra seats for Wicked in October/November. They are selling fast, and I wanna go!

Haters are gonna hate. Melody from the Pussycat Dolls (aka my husband's favorite group on the planet because of miss Nicole) is mad she isn't the star. She was in Phoenix and says to the crowd "Thank you for supporting me even though Im not FEATURED!" Melody then went on to say "Dont let anyone stomp on your dreams!"

So...I don't get it. Nicole is the lead. Everyone knows that. Melody is screechy and annoying. I'm a Nicole fan too!

Kim Kardashian "blonde" (as she puts it) = not hot. She is so plain looking!

9 FOODS THAT REDUCE STRESS

I know that some of us ladies enjoy food when we are stressed. Now, we can eat these and they will actually help us to be LESS STRESSED!

Oranges
A German study in Psychopharmacology found that vitamin C helps reduce stress and return blood pressure and cortisol to normal levels after a stressful situation. Vitamin C is also well known for boosting your immune system.

Sweet Potatoes
Sweet potatoes can be particularly stress-reducing because they can satisfy the urge you get for carbohydrates and sweets when you are under a great deal of stress. They are packed full of beta-carotene and other vitamins, and the fiber helps your body to process the carbohydrates in a slow and steady manner.

Dried Apricots
Apricots are rich in magnesium, which is a stress-buster and a natural muscle relaxant as well.

Almonds, Pistachios, and Walnuts
Almonds are packed with B and E vitamins, which help boost your immune system, and walnuts and pistachios help lower blood pressure.

Turkey
Turkey contains an amino acid called L-tryptophan. This amino acid triggers the release of serotonin, which is a feel-good brain chemical. This is the reason why many people who eat turkey feel relaxed, or even tired, after eating it. L-tryptophan has a documented calming effect.

Spinach
A deficiency in magnesium can cause migraine headaches and a feeling of fatigue. One cup of spinach provides 40 percent of your daily needs for magnesium.

Salmon
Diets high in omega-3 fatty acids protect against heart disease. A study from Diabetes & Metabolism found that omega-3s keep the stress hormones cortisol and adrenaline from peaking.

Avocados
The monounsaturated fats and potassium in avocados help lower blood pressure. The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute says that one of the best ways to lower blood pressure is to consume enough potassium (avocados have more than bananas).

Green Vegetables
Broccoli, kale, and other dark green vegetables are powerhouses of vitamins that help replenish our bodies in times of stress.

SO...the big road trip start Friday! Bobby and I are heading northwest, y'all! We are first driving to Boise, then Salt Lake City. Why those cities you ask? Well...Boise is the home to Bobby's best man, Greg, and his wife Mary and their adorable 2 year old son Kaden. I am so excited to visit them! Then, Salt Lake City will be home to Britney Spears and the PCD on Tuesday. I'm excited to get out of town and explore the sites.

Just hope for good weather for us!

OK...I'm so sorry. I have been so incredibly busy and have not updated this in months. ANYWAY...here is what I've been up to:

1. I colored my hair. It's kind of UGLY lol. I wanted it light brown with blonde highlights. It is red/orange. HAHA. Not really ugly, but I'm still shocked by what it looks like.

2. I found an amazing new mascara. It's the Lancome Oscillation Mascara and it costs a fortune. Like...$34 or something crazy. But I absolutely cannot live without it.

3. I suck at going to the gym. I think I have gained 5 pounds. Ugh. Someone needs to motivate me!

4. Bobby and I are planning out trip to Salt Lake! I'm super pumped to go to IKEA!

Ok...that is all for now. I have to lookup rental cars. CIAO!

I know, I know...I haven't updated. Can you blame a girl for being so very busy?! I know you'll let me slide. Come to my hubby's show if you can in Colorado Springs! He's awesome, you know.

I really need to apologize for not updating. It has been absolutely insane around here!

Nothing really all that new to report, though. Just busy busy...but it's good. I started at T-Mobile last Monday and it's going pretty well so far. I just don't have time for the stuff I used to do around the house. You know...clean, cook, laundry, etc. But I'll find a balance.

Now we just need to move! :) STAT!
